10/11/2023 0 Comments Mint mobile customer service![]() That being said, I made a purchasing decision based on the *** information on the page. After speaking to multiple customer support representatives, I received the same answerthe introductory 3-month pricing referenced in the *** was referencing their NORMAL 3 month introductory cost and not the current deal. I found out after switching that the 12 month plan renewal amount was much more than $15 a month. On 8-26-23, I decided, based on that information, that I would make the switch. Upon checking the website, I saw an *** page that said, Mint Tip: You can lock in our introductory 3-month pricing by renewing for 12 months. ![]() I wanted to make sure this was something that was a long term investment. I had been with my current carrier for 5+ years but this kind of pricing was something I couldnt ignore. I saw Mint had a deal offering $15 a month unlimited plans. I changed mobile carriers based on information on a webpage that was inaccurate. To my mind it is fraud - to sell a locked phone as new & unlocked, and not to resolve the problem promptly, once caught. They claim "the warehouse is still working on the case". They still won't give me the date I can have my phone back. They opened several tickets on the case, but each time I get a new rep and I have to explain it all over again. Their customer service is awful, you are on the phone or online chat for hours, but all they can do is exquisitely apologize for the inconvenience. NB: They PROMISED to replace it! I returned the phone, it was delivered on, and since then I cannot get a replacement or a resolution.I have spent hours chatting with Mint reps every week and each time they tell me it will take 5-7 days, but nothing happens. When all means were exhausted, Mint agreed to give me an RMA# to return the phone for a replacement. I had been trying unsuccessfully to get the phone unlocked, When I called Mint, they tried to unlock it with no success, then transferred my calls to Sprint, *******, T-Mobile, who then transferred me back to Mint, that had initially sold me the phone. It means that the phone Mint sold as new had been actually in use with Sprint. The coverage still remained poor with my new phone, so at the end of my year contract I switched to ***** To my surprise, the phone didn't work with the *** sim, it turned out to be network locked by Sprint (who I was never a customer with). The phone was claimed to be new, unused, unlocked. A Mint rep said that the problem was in the phone and not the provider, so on 11-14-2022 my son Artem bought me a new ******* S205G phone (as a birthday present) from Mint for $475.12 (incl freight). I was a Mint Mobile Customer in 2022, but the coverage was very poor on my ******** phone. I feel totally disrespected by this company, I don't wanna change my phone number and I want a resolution for that, they could refund the plan I bought, give me store credit, I am flexible with that, but I don't wanna change number. Then, called multiple times again, and they would say "I'm gonna call you back within 1 hour", nothing happened. I called them several times during that week, trying to talk to the manager, they would put me on hold for almost an hour and I was only able to talk to the manager once, and he didn't solved my situation. When I said I would return my phone and the plan, they said I wouldn't be able to, because it had been more than 30 days. So I asked for a refund and they said I would need to give back my phone and my 12mo plan that I paid for. They said they gave me the wrong information and they would not be able to activate the 12mo plan I bought unless I changed my phone #, their advertisement never said I would need to change my # and that is why I bought it with them, otherwise, I would've bought my phone at Apple and then just renewed my old plan. So I called them again, explained the whole situation and how the other attendant made me believe my plan was already activated. Last week (08/23/23), I noticed that on my Mint app my plan would expire in September and I would need to pay again for renewing the plan, which I had already done when I bought the phone and the new plan. After a few weeks, I kept receiving emails from Mint saying I needed to activate my plan, so I called them again to make sure it was all good, and they said the plan was activated and I didn't need to worry. Same day I received my phone, I called Mint to activate my eSIM, keep using my 1st plan and activated the 2nd I bought with the phone, the employees said it was all good and activated. In 06/04/23 I bought a phone and another 12months plan with Mint again. In Oct/2022 I bought a 12 months plan at Mint, which will expire in Sep/2023.
